How do I download The STL App?

The STL App is available for iOS devices through the Apple App Store. Search for "The STL App" or "STL Events" to find and download our free app.

What devices are supported?

The STL App supports iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 15.0 or later. The app is optimized for all screen sizes and works beautifully on both devices.

Is The STL App free to use?

Yes! The STL App is completely free to download and use. There are no subscription fees, in-app purchases, or hidden costs.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required to browse and discover events. You can use most features of the app without signing up. An account is only needed if you want to submit events for consideration.

Using the App

How do I find events for a specific date?

Use the month carousel at the top of the app to select different months. Events are automatically organized by date, with day headers showing you exactly when events are happening.

Can I filter events by category?

Yes! Tap the filter icon to access our comprehensive filtering options. You can filter by categories like music, sports, theater, dining, and more.

How do I get more details about an event?

Tap on any event card to view detailed information including description, venue details, ticket information, and links to purchase tickets or get more information.

Can I save events or add them to my calendar?

While viewing event details, you can easily add events to your device's calendar app. This will create a calendar entry with all the event information.

Where do you get your event information?

We aggregate events from over 20 trusted sources including major venues, cultural institutions, local businesses, and official event platforms throughout the Greater St. Louis area.

How often is the event information updated?

Event information is updated automatically and regularly to ensure accuracy. Pull down on the events list to refresh and get the latest information.

What if I find incorrect event information?

If you notice incorrect information, please contact us at info@thestlapp.com with the event details. We'll investigate and correct any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.

How can I submit an event?

You can submit events through our in-app submission form. Navigate to the contact/submission section in the app and fill out the event details. All submissions are reviewed before being added to the app.

Technical Support

The app is running slowly or crashing. What should I do?

Try closing and reopening the app. If problems persist, restart your device. Make sure you have the latest version of the app from the App Store. If issues continue, contact us with your device model and iOS version.

Events aren't loading. How can I fix this?

Check your internet connection and pull down on the events list to refresh. If you're still having trouble, try closing and reopening the app. Contact support if the problem continues.

How do I update the app?

Open the App Store app on your device, search for "The STL App," and tap "Update" if available. You can also enable automatic updates in your device's App Store settings.
